Pembroke is a charming walled town dating from the 11th century, famous for its Norman Castle and the ideal centre for touring the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Our tours explore the history and countryside of the Pembrokeshire Coast & St David's Cathedral and the literary connections of Dylan Thomas' Laugharne and Pembroke Castle. Other excursions include:Pembrokeshire Coast and City of St David's - A Half Day tour of the only coastal national park in Britain, visiting St David's the lovely birthplace of St David, the most important religious site in Wales. Pembroke Castle and Dylan Thomas' Laugharne - Pembroke Castle is one of the largest fortresses in Wales and is in a great location above the town, this tour also visits the former home of Dylan Thomas, the great 20th Century Welsh writer and the town that inspired him. Half Day. Great Gardens of Wales - Heads west in to the beautiful county of Camarthernshire and tours the modern National Botanic Garden of Wales which opened in 2000 and Aberglasney a fascinating restoration of a historical garden.
