Edinburgh City & Castle (full day)

Crossing 'The Firth of Forth', with stunning views across to the rail bridge which ranks as one of the supreme achievements of Victorian engineering and was built in 1883. The road bridge which we use was completed in 1964 and ended the 900 year old ferry service. Edinburgh - the showcase capital for Scotland, its setting is undeniably striking perched on a series of extinct volcanoes and rocky crags. Stopping at Edinburgh Castle, arguably the most breathtaking castle in the world, it has been home to Scottish Kings and Queens from centuries past, and is steeped in myth, legend and history. Free time for guests to investigate the old town with its tortuous alleys and tightly packed streets and shops. After lunch is served we continue with a city tour that gives a lasting impression of one of the Worlds most impressive cities.
