Island of Gigha (half day)

North up the west coast of the Kintyre Peninsula offers fantastic views out to the mountainous islands of Jura Islay and Gigha itself.Boarding the ferry for the short ride across to the pretty little island of Gigha.Gigha is tiny and supports a small community of mainly farmers and fisherman.Cut off from the mainland with only a couple of miles of road, a small walking tour round the beautiful Achamore Gardens gives visitors a real feel of what it might be like to live in such a little yet peaceful island.
