South Mainland & Jarlshof (half day)

A wonderfully scenic tour traveling through coastal scenery to the most southerly tip at Sumburgh. Evidence of prehistoric settlements is evident from the very beginning of the tour with ancient Brochs visible by the roadside. Starting with a short tour of Lerwick, the first stop is made in the tiny village of Sandwick to the Warp & Weft Centre and Shetland Mill Shop. Continuing down to the Archaeological Jarlshof Settlement where guests are guided through this amazing site which dates back to the Bronze Age and includes the 9th Century Viking Remains.
