Edinburgh Tattoo (evening)

Acclaimed by many as the greatest show on earth, and undeniably one of the world's most breathtaking spectacles, the Tattoo is a dazzling and compelling celebration of music, dance, drama and military precision. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, this colourful and historic pageant is attended by many people from all nations each year. As always the program includes its two most popular items - the music of the Massed Pipes and Drums together with that of the Massed Military Bands and these have been joined by dancers, drill teams, stilt walkers, motorcyclists dog teams and many other entertainment's over the Years.

A sensational finale brings the show to an emotional climax with "Auld Lang Syne", as the lights fade on the Lone Piper.
